I was late for work about 10 mins for 2 consecutive days. This is the 1st time since I started working, and it is such an abomination for any decently-behaved salaryman. One time glitch is conceivable even for dedicated Japanese work soldiers, but no excuse could redeem my tarnished reputation of being late for 2 days in a row. Nonetheless, I dare to attribute the cause to the malfunctioning of my stupid i-Pad whose alarm was apparently muted in the day 1, which prompted me to check if the sound would come out before going to bed on the same night (which confirmed the normal working of alarm sound). Despite my checking in the previous night, the sound was muted again in the day-2 morning.
Sometimes, a coincidence manifests ifself with clearly malicious intentions. On the other end of spectrum, we are undoubtedly beneficiaries of ubiquitous (yet non-obvious) happenstances that we seem to take them for granted.
